Murat Ergen – President

Murat Ergen has a Master of Software Systems, majoring in Data Management. His academic work focused on data mining, predictive modeling and time series forecasting. He has over 10 years of experience building forecasting projects in various industries, including banking, healthcare, retail, telecommunications, and hospitality. He has successfully installed new systems for marketing, sales and fulfillment departments. Murat specializes in creating easy to use tools out of complex technologies.

David Hinkemeyer – Executive Vice President Client Services

David has over 20 years of experience in marketing management, product development, and client services leadership roles. He has held positions of Director, Vice President, and Sr. Vice President during his career with U.S. Bank, GE Capital, Carlson Marketing, TCF Financial, and BI Digital Marketing. David received both his B.S. (Economics) and M.B.A. (Finance) from the University of Minnesota.

Tom Lemke – Chief Retail Officer

Tom has over 30 years of industry experience in the fields of marketing, loyalty, CRM, database and multi-channel marketing, social media, and SEO with an expertise in customer centric marketing. He was CMO & GM of customer strategy for Coles Myer where he managed Australia’s largest loyalty programs, Flybuys and Myer One. He also served asVP of Database Marketing and Customer Intelligence for Kmart where he created and managed the School Spirit loyalty program. Tom is also the CEO and CCO for BBG-Global, a consultancy for retail, consumer package goods and financial services. He has also been a lecturer on Loyalty Marketing and CRM at Deakin’s University, Melbourne, Australia, the Direct Marketing Association and the United States Postal Service.

Tim Aten – Business Development Manager

After working in the NYC film industry Tim worked with Omnigraphics in Detroit as an Internet Research Associate. From 2000 to 2008 he worked at Avanti Press as Senior Color Specialist where he oversaw the process and quality control of all printed product. In 2008 he began working as Project Manager for Futuramic Media where he was responsible for all client relationships, sales, PPC advertising as well as implementing and managing all web analytic data. Tim received his B.A. from The University of Michigan’s Residential College (Film/Video and Creative Writing) and his M.B.A. from Walsh College (Marketing).

John Power – Chief Financial Services Officer

John Power’s financial and operations experience goes back nearly 20 years and spans the financial service industry. He most recently served as the Chief Operating Officer for Matrix Capital Services, a boutique financial services firm offering equity research, investment banking, asset management and brokerage. Prior to joining Matrix, he was a Managing Director at Mellon Investor Services and President of its subsidiary, Mellon Securities, where he ran the employee stock plan administration and equity trading businesses. John has held several senior management positions, including CFO for E*Trade’s Corporate Services Business and Director of Finance for E*Trade’s Retail Businesses, Controller and Chief-of-Staff for Bank Julius Baer’s US Private Banking Unit. Additionally, John held senior finance roles at Bank Julius Baer, Spear, Leeds & Kellogg, Best Products and RCG Information Technology. He is a FINRA Registered Securities Broker and Principal, Series 7, 24 and 63. John received a BS in Finance from Manhattan College, and an MBA from Dowling College, where he also serves as Associate Trustee.

Ken Simonelic – Head of Information Technology

Ken Simonelic is a leader specializing in business re-engineering and strategic planning. As Vice President, Mr.Simonelic was responsible for Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence functions in the Lending Division of Wells Fargo Bank and responsible for the predictive analytics functions of the Home Mortgage Division. Previously, he held leadership positions at Fortune 500 and Start-Ups alike; creating new capabilities, redesigning processes, and building high performance teams to deliver bottom line and top line growth. Mr. Simonelic has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University, an MBA from the University of St. Thomas, and a Six Sigma Green Belt. He serves as President of the Board of an animal rescue, non-profit corporation and held founding and leadership roles in large volunteer organizations.

John Wood – Senior Economist

John Wood holds a PhD in Applied Economics from the University of Minnesota and a BS and MS in Agricultural Economics and Marketing from the Hebrew University. He has extensive various industry experience that based on customer centric business model . Dr. Wood has worked as a consultant developing statistical business solutions using SAS. His work experience covers areas like energy (forecasting), communication (forecasting), automotive (segmentation), credit and banking (forecasting, data mining and predictive modeling) and CPG (data mining). Dr. Wood served on the advisory board of a respective journal and gave numerous presentations in national and international conferences.

Senol Whaley – Project Manager

Senol Whaley holds a dual Masters degree in Project Management and International Business from St. Mary’s University of MN. He has a Bachelor of Science degree from Iowa State University in City and Regional Planning. He has performed construction and logistics management functions with the US Army for 10 years as an engineer officer where he specialized in needs assessment, resource planning, operations synchronization and TQM. After a short tour with the US Census Bureau as district data analyst, he has moved into operations/business analysis field for a major financial firm located in Minnesota. At this position he developed forecasting models for call centers and process improvement projects with various Six Sigma teams. He frequently teaches classes in business analysis techniques to accounting/ finance students and business owners with hands-on real world examples. His current projects include process mapping, resource planning, demand forecasting, custom reporting using Excel Macros, Lean/Flow transformation and internal quality auditing.

Victor Johnson – Operation Research Scientist

Victor Johnson is Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research.He is a Supply Chain and Logistics professional with extensive analytical and managerial expertise in air/truck freight forwarding, transportation logistics, airline inventory and optimization models, management and retail. Experience includes building decision support systems, procurement, strategic planning, change management, start-ups, contract negotiations and working with financial institutions. Bottom-line oriented, organized manager with strong problem solving and communication skills. A significant strength is serving as a liaison between functional units with detailed and accurate evaluation of current and future business processes and performance.

Nathan Josh – Senior Statistican

Nathan Josh has a B.A. in Statistics from Washington University and a M.S. in Artificial Intelligence from University of Chicago. With over 15 years of data mining and predictive modeling experience, he’s succesfully engaged in and led teams that have provided innovative, directly actionable analyses, presented in a clear and concise manner within a variety of for profit and non-profit industries – banking and financial, telecommunications, consumer goods, media advertising, and conservation sciences. He’s co-authored several research papers on natural habitat field studies, and led analyses at TIme Life that directly resulted in a substantial reworking and more profitable approach to their media buying. In any engagement, Nathan specializes in tailoring the analytic approach taken to best fit the needs of the client.

Laura Dean – Realtionship Manager

Laura Dean is collaborative seasoned partner/alliance manager, with strength in strategy formulation, targeted client planning and strategic enduser business development. From International C level management to SMB experience. She helps from partner introductions, through the closing of the larger opportunity created.

David Ritter – Senior GUI Developer

David Ritter has a Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Alberta, and a Masters degree in Computer Systems Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark. David has over 7 years of professional experience providing software development, web application development and database development services to companies in the telecommunications and industrial automation industries. He has been a major contributor on a company-wide forecasting project for a Fortune 500 company, and has participated in data warehousing projects for several clients.

Sameer Ahmed – Program Manager

Sameer Ahmed has a Master of Software Systems, majoring in Process Management. He has over eight years of experience in the Information Technology area, including over six years in the Home Mortgage industry conducting Business, Systems Analysis and Project Management. He has extensive experience in managing financial and process improvement projects and leading technical and functional teams. His experience varies from collecting user requirements utilizing best practices such as JAD and RAD sessions to creating system design for financial accounting and business intelligence projects. He is highly skilled in needs assessment, strategic planning, establishing priorities and motivating teams to reach for their best, and following through to ensure success.

Sajen Shrestha – Senior Data Analyst

Sajen Shrestha has a Master’s degree in Software Systems and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. He has over seven years of professional experience as a data analyst. He has worked as a consultant at various companies in the home mortgage and investment management industries. Sajen’s expertise lies in developing custom reporting and reconciliation tools using Excel Macros, and Access and SQL Server databases. He has successfully worked on several data warehousing projects which involved building and automating data transformation processes.
